Designing a dynamic content feature for personalized communications

I developed a new feature for Mercadolibre's personalization campaign platform, "Hermes," that enables users to include variables to be replaced with the final user's information.

Objectives

I created this feature for several reasons:

  1. To simplify the user experience. Customizing content was a complex process requiring much technical and coding knowledge. But now, with just one click, Hermes takes care of everything.

  2. I achieved to make the feature more accessible to users. Anyone can use it regardless of their experience.

  3. I wanted to help Hermes’ users to create more compelling content. Communication becomes more specific by allowing them to personalize messages, generating a closer bond with their audience. After all, we all like to be called by our name, right? 😉
